The aim of the project is to develop a non-discriminatory standard that lays the foundation for the exchange of information and networking different IT systems along the maritime transport chain. The knowledge and findings obtained in RoRo Port 4.0 are to be implemented in prototype terms at the same time. Partners: Fraunhofer CML, Lufthansa Industry Solutions, University of Lübeck as well as our subsidiary companies European Cargo Logistics (ECL) und Baltic Rail Gate (BRG) and the forwarding company Spedition Bode as associate partners.
The official kick-off meetings for the three topics referred to took place on 16 and 17 November with the involvement of the project sponsor, TÜV Rhineland.
In addition, we are involved as an associate partner in a further research project being developed and submitted under the auspices of the Technical University of Berlin (SMECS).
